The Town lies at the southern edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains just west of Hendersonville, North Carolina, 26 miles south/southeast of Asheville, and 44 miles north/northwest of Spartanburg. |

| FORM OF GOVERNMENT |
Laurel Park operates under a council-manager form of government. The Council which consists of the mayor and four commissioners is the policy-making body and appoints a manager. The manager is the chief administrator and handles the day-to-day operations of the Town. |
