Cortney Kidd is a lifelong resident of Western North Carolina with over two decades of experience in financial management and customer service. She spent 17 years in the banking industry, where she built a strong foundation in financial operations, client relations, and regulatory compliance. In 2018, she transitioned to local government and now serves as the Finance Officer for the Town of Laurel Park.
Cortney is known for her dedication to public service, attention to detail, and commitment to transparency and fiscal responsibility. She is responsible for overseeing the Town’s financial planning, budgeting, accounting, payroll and reporting functions.
She resides in Henderson County with her husband and their four dogs. A proud mother of five adult children, Cortney enjoys spending time with her family and remains deeply connected to the community she has always called home.
